Low levels of inflammation that persists for long periods of time have the potential to cause major health problems down the line. If the inflammation occurs in the tendons, you may develop tendonitis. If it occurs in the intestines, you may develop colitis. Chronic inflammation has even been linked to certain forms of cancer.
In this free seminar, Dr. Zheng will be giving you tips on recognizing signs of chronic inflammation as well as ways to combat the inflammation. In addition to lifestyle changes, Dr. Zheng will also explain how herbal teas and acupuncture can help in keeping inflammation away. As usual, a Q&A segment will follow the talk.
Although the event is free, pre-registration is recommended as space is limited. Save your spot today!
Dr. Li Zheng will be holding a free seminar about how herbal tea and acupuncture can help balance our nervous system to reduce stress. She will use recent scientific research to explain how combining herbs, wheatgrass and green tea with acupuncture treatments can help the body balance its immune function and produce more anti-inflammatory chemicals such as cortisol, serotonin, progesterone and other relaxing hormones.
This event is free but space is limited. Please pre-register at Eventbrite to reserve your spot!
Dr. Li Zheng
Over the weekend, Dr. Li Zheng visited AM1470, Boston’s first and only 24-hour Chinese language station to talk about hormone balance and acupuncture. In this half-hour segment, Dr. Zheng delves into disorders caused by female hormone imbalance (estrogen and progesterone), including infertility, fibroids, endometriosis and PCOS as well as disorders caused by male hormone imbalance (estrogen and testosterone), such as prostate enlargement, male breast cancer, low testosterone and erectile dysfunction. She will also give some practical advice on how to re-balance your hormones by eating cruciferous vegetables, taking herbs, and getting acupuncture. We are very happy to be a part of AM1470’s first months of operations!
Tune in to AM1470 Woburn, MA on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 4 pm to hear Dr. Zheng’s segment and learn about acupuncture and hormone balance!
