Our Mission Statement: Chinese Acupuncture for Veterans, Inc. acknowledges that veterans, because of their unique experience in combat and similar high stress situations, are often afflicted with physical and emotional disorders. These ailments may include, but not limited to: post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), acute and chronic pain, anxiety, arthritis, asthma, allergies, carpel tunnel, depression, insomnia, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), migraines/headaches, neck and lower back pain, high blood pressure, neuropathy, sciatica, acid reflux and stroke. We further acknowledge that, often times, US military veterans do not have the resources available to them to seek proper treatment and care. Taking these considerations into mind, the organization was created with the specific purpose of serving military veterans in the following capacities: • To provide in office acupuncture treatments to verifiable US military veterans on an appointment basis. Uninsured Veterans will be provided a special discounted rate of $20.00 per visit. • To conduct educational seminars at veteran centers in the community at no cost to participants. Acupuncture and acupressure treatments will be applied to treat depression, anxiety, reduce stress levels, and help boost the patients’ immunity.
